RESIDENTIAL PRICES
The Ferry is now operating on the WINTER schedule: The Ferry runs continuously from 6:45 am until 7:30 pm. Then from 9:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Then again from 11:00 pm to 11:15 pm. Weather permitting.
Cash prices: Car & Driver - $12.00 round trip
Passenger - $4.00 round trip
Bike & Rider - $6.00 round trip
Moped (includes operator) - $8.00 round trip
Motorcycle (includes operator) - $8.00 round trip Trailers (single axle) - $10.00 round trip
Trailers (tandem axle) - $15.00 round trip
additional $1.00 per foot for boat on trailer
additional $4.00 per ton load on trailer
Commuter Discount Books are available at a reduced rate. Discount books can be purchased on board the ferry year round as well as shoreside during summer.
Passenger Book: $135 for 50 round trips.
Which equals a discount of $65 or 32% off of cash price.
Makes a round trip only $2.70 rather than cash price of $4.00.
Car Book (Passenger Car ONLY): $200 for 25 round trips.
Which equals a discount of $100 or 33% off of cash price.
Makes a round trip only $8.00 rather than cash price of $12.00.
Pick-up & Van Book (no more than four tires): $225 for 25 round trips.
Which equals a discount of $75 or 25% off of cash price.
Makes a round trip only $9.00 rather than cash price of $12.00.
Bike & Rider Book: $100 for 20 round trips.
Which equals a discount of $20 or 17% off of cash price.
Makes a round trip only $5.00 rather than cash price of $6.00.
Bike & Rider may also use double passenger tickets.
Which makes a round trip $5.40 rather than cash price of $6.00.
There can be no refunds on discount ticket books.
Discount ticket books SOLD BY CHAPPAQUIDDICK FERRY, INC. have no expiration date.
Discount tickets may not be used for trailers. Discount tickets may not be used for vehicles with more than four tires. Discount tickets may not be used for vehicles which would pay more than the regular vehicle cash fare because of size or weight.
Please see the commercial rate list. You will be required to shut off your engine while the ferry is underway. You must put your vehicle in park and set your parking brake.
You must not restart your engine until directed to do so by the Captain or Deckhand. Passengers are required to sit down and hold on during docking due to the strong tidal currents.

ALL FARES ARE ROUND TRIP
Freight is $4 per ton, ($2 for half ton, $1 for quarter ton, etc.)
You Must Have a Weight Slip for Freight, Lumber, Dirt, Gravel, Concrete Castings, etc. WITHOUT EXCEPTION. The Coast Guard insists that we know the weights that we carry.

Maximum gross vehicle weight limit on ferry:
With a single rear axle limit is 32,000 lbs.
With a tandem rear axle limit is 38,000 lbs.
