Donna Rossetti-Bailey, an award winning pastel landscape artist from Marshfield, graduated from Boston University's School of Fine Arts in 1974 and taught in the Rockland Public Schools' highly acclaimed art program for twenty-three years.
She now teaches pastel and drawing classes at various locations on the South Shore, including the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, the North River Arts Society in Marshfield and independently in Duxbury. She also teaches workshops for artists and instructs programs in public and private schools for teachers and students.
The beauty of nature, the weather, and the transitions of the seasons are the inspiration for Donna's pastel paintings, which have won many honors and juried awards. Donna's painting, "Marsh River Reflections" won the Best of Show Award at The North River Arts Society Calendar Show in October 2006 and will appear on the cover of their 2008 Art Calendar.
She has lived on the South Shore for thirty-two years, where she paints the places she knows and the places she has traveled. Her landscape paintings invite the viewer to experience the world through her eyes.
